Color Me Blue

I had a little fun today playing with my new blue Copics.

After seeing Nicole's gorgeous blue Morning Glories I knew I had to have them. Oh my land...they are so fun. This one was actually an accident. I had the flowers all done and when I stamped the sentiment it was crooked. So to save all my hard work I cut it out and attached it to a separate piece. Then I foam mounted that piece to give it a little something extra....loving it.

I did a little research and found out that Larkspurs come in blue also. It was fun to work with a different color for a change.

Sunflowers and a Peacock

I made this card for a co-workers Birthday tomorrow. I love how the sunflowers fit on the mat stack die perfect. She loves the terra cotta color and my "fluffy" bows (thank you Dawn McVey) so I had to make sure to incorporate both into her card. I hope she likes it.
For my second card I just had to try Nicole's peacock. I think it's just the cutest thing. It took me three tries to get his "feathers" right but I finally got it.

Trio of wedding cards

I had a couple of co-workers ask me for wedding cards on the same day.Of course I didn't have any but I knew my order with these three stamp sets was coming in the next day.

I wanted to keep the colors simple because they are wedding cards. The Smokey Shadow with just a touch of Melon Berry in the ribbon gave me the look I wanted. Though you can't see it very well, I used the matching impression plate on the Smokey Shadow.

To help give the card some demention I stamped the
flowers on a separate piece of paper, cut them out and attached them with mounting foam.

Again, I stayed with a pretty simple color scheme. The Ocean Tides was ran through my Cuttlebug with the canvas impression plate. To add just a little more I stamped the rose bud on the Smokey Shadow in Versamark ink.

For my last card I know it's probably
not a very traditional wedding card. I have been wanting this stamp set since it came out and I just couldn't wait to color it. So to dress it up some I added a touch of argyle.

Blessing to me

This was a new color combo for me. I tend to always turn to green so to reach for that Melon Berry was a stretch for me. I'm actually really happy with the way it turned out.

Be Inspired

I am not a person of many words, so the thought of a blog kinda scares me. My daughter has been telling me for some time that I need to start a blog so I have a place to share my passion for crafting. So, I finally broke down and did it. My hope is that each person that visits will be inspired by what they see, that they will find the inner creativity in themselves and let it shine. I hope to give you a glimpse into my "Kloset". This is the place I go to create. I call it my Kloset because that's what it is. Take the doors off and add a counter and some storage and you have wonderful place to create. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Kreations!
