There is a chill in the air

I promised more leaves and here they are. I was surprised by how different I was able to make each card.

On this first one I used Terra Cotta Tile, Orange Zest and Summer Sunshine to create the beautiful fall colors on the leaves. Then I used gold embossing powder for the veins of the leaves. Notice the maple leaves on the brown paper...I used Versamark ink to do that.

On my second card I cut the leaves  from various colors of Papertrey card stock and then stamped the leaf image with Versamark and the veins with brown. I also ran the card base through my Cuttlebug using the Lines and Canvas Impression Plate...I LOVE this impression plate!

For this card I wanted to keep the colors softer. I cut the leaves from Vintage Cream card stock and stamped them with the colors I used on my first card above as well as Ripe Avocado.

Again I cut the leaves from Vintage Cream and stamped them with the same colors I did above. I added the maple leaves to the craft card stock and polka dots to the brown using Versamark ink.

Fall is in the air

With fall finally here I thought it was time to post some cards to reflect the season. Fall is my favorite time of the year...with the beautiful colors and the brisk air, I just love it. Over the next few days I'll be posting some fall cards so be sure to check back. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Kreations!

Bethie's Stamp Challenge #1

This is the first time I have participated in a challenge. I am one who likes to just sit down with no particular card in mind and see what I come up with. So to sit at my desk, and know I had to come up with a card using Wreath For All Seasons...and only that set, was a challenge in itself.

Calendars and Calendars and Calendars oh my!

I finally got a chance to play with my new calendar set. I decided to make the fronts like I would if I was making a card. I would have had buttons and ribbon on there if I could...but you can only get so much inside the case..haha.

I kept the insides simple by just stamping the image I had on the outside in black.

For this one I wanted to give it a more masculine look.  For the inside pages I kept the color neutral by using Kraft, Fine Linen and Vintage Cream. I stamped the leaves down the side on the first page and then across the top on the next then back down the side etc.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Kreations!
