I made this card for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge...The Long & Short Of It. I didn't get it posted in time but thought I would share it anyways. The challenge was to make a card that measures 4 X 9. Wow..that's a lot of space to work with. They said to embrace the white space, so that's what I did. I had so much fun making this card. I showed the girls at work and they loved it. I make all the birthday cards for work and they always complain there isn't enough room for everyone to sign. Okay, there are 28 of us in the building. That's a lot of people to sign one 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 card. You don't want to be one of the last one to sign..unless you just want to sign you name...haha. They told me I should make them this size. Now I need to figure out how to make the envelope.
Here is my card. Is that a tall card or what? It's hard to tell from the picture but the card opens at the scalloped edge. The image is from Flourishes...love those flowers.
