Creative Background

I hope everyone enjoyed their President's Day. I had the day off but didn't get a chance to do any stamping. I was in my stamping "kloset" but I was cleaning it. Wow..it was a little out of control. It really needed to be organized and some things moved around. See, I'm kinda running out of room for my stamps. I know a great problem to have, right? So I made room for more :) Problem solved.

I do have a card to share with you today. It's one I made awhile back. I was messing around with different stamps trying to come up with some backgrounds. I pulled out my Modern Basics set and come up with this.

I stamped the large outline in Versamark Ink. If you look at the top of the card you can pick out the image better. When I stamped the second one I overlapped it to the middle of the first one I stamped and so on. I really like the effect I got.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you soon.

  1. Just stunning, as usual. I'm going to play with my Modern Basics and see if I can come up with what you did. It's not clicking in my mind right now, but it is rather late for me.

  2. Lovely card. I like the pearls in the center of the milkweeds. makes it very classy.

  3. Ooh Deanna, this is such a well made delight. The two stamp sets work in beautifully as you have used them. I love the card composition too. Gorgeous!

  4. Recently found your blog & I am so enjoying your creativity...thanks for sharing! Love this card!
