Gone Too Soon

It's been 11 years today since my cousin Aaron lost his life to a drunk driver at the young age of 21. His family moved to PA when he was about 5. We live in OR so I only saw him one time after they moved, so I never really knew him well.  My heart just aches for my aunt and uncle and their two daughters. As a parent of a beautiful daughter that will turn 21 this year..I can't even begin to imagine her being taken from my life.

Aaron...gone too soon. Please don't drink and drive.

Here is the card I made for my aunt and uncle.

Thank you for stopping by,
Deanna

Supplies: All supplies PTI Stamps Lovely Leaves and YOF Lily Of The Valley Ink: Dark Chocolate Copic: YG63

  2. This just touched my heart...I also lost my 21 yr. old son because of a drunken driver on July 17, 2005. I'm so sorry for your famiy to lose a precious loved one way too soon. It's so sweet of you to remember your aunt and uncle. I know it's the hardest thing that they have ever been through. I will be praying and thinking of your family.

  9. What a beautiful card to encourage a family shattered by loss. I have an 18 year old son and a 22 year old daughter and I too cannot imagine losing them due to negligence on someone else's behalf. Thanks for posting.

  10. Simply beautiful, Deanna. The Lovely Leaves set is such a pretty one and you have used it in such a creative way here.

What a terrible tragedy for your aunt and uncle and their two daughters. I wish no one would ever have to feel that kind of pain.
