I thought I would stop in really quick this morning and post my card for
The Pink Elephant challenge. This week there is a great inspiration photo to work with. This came at the perfect time for me. I have a co-worker having a birthday in a couple of weeks and she is a huge...really huge tea drinker. Here is my card...and her birthday card.
I pulled from the row of hanging cups. After I got my card all put together I noticed that my blue and tan cups are backwards..darn it. To create the woodgrain on my "shelf" I inked up my woodgrain impression plate with kraft ink and ran it through my Big Shot. I needed hooks for my cups to hang from. My daughter came up with the idea of the pearls. She can be pretty helpful (shhhh don't tell her I said that) haha. When it comes to sentiments I love taking from different sets and using different sizes and styles. Love how this turned out...so fun.
I attached the tea cups with my
dots. It's just enough to make them look like they are really hanging.
