Here is my card:
I think it was the gray that made this one so hard for me. Once I decided I could do gray leaves the rest just fell into place. This set from PTI has two steps. I tried doing gray then stamping off and doing the gray again, but that didn't work so well. So I went with black instead. I really like the way it turned out.
Here you can see that I attached the card panel with foam tape and the flowers with my dots. I originally stamped the flower centers black. I showed the card to my daughter and she told me to do black pearls instead..such a good idea.
Here are this week's colors:

ReplyDeleteFabulous card! I love the grey leaves!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and cool leaves.
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning, Deanna. First, LOVE the layout. Second, those leaves in the gray make the image look hand-stitched. I would love that on linen napkins. Finally, I think you have a daughter with an eye for design! The added dimension with the bling adds that 'mwah' touch!!
ReplyDeleteyou make combining these colors look so very easy!! this card is just stunning!
ReplyDeleteDeanna, I am so blown away with this card. I have been away from stamping for 6 1/2 months due to hand surgery and this is the first week I have been at the table "trying" to make a card. I can't find any creativity and was ready to quit. I saw your card and I just have to make it. I love the look and colors. Thanks for the little push that I needed.
ReplyDeleteI agree that these colors were challenging, but you rocked them!
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous Deanna. The way you've used these colors is so unique!
