Dynamic Duos #45

Happy Saturday! I am so happy the weekend is finally here. I've been really sick for the past two weeks. After two visits to the doctor and four days of work missed and the wonders of meds, I am finally feeling like myself again. So I plan on spending my weekend catching up on some crafting. I'm stopping in this morning with my card for this week's Dynamic Duos. It's week four and that means we have some monochromatic colors for you.

Here is my card:


This is actually the second card I made using these colors. My daughter thought the first one was too plain. I really tried to stick to just the two colors and it just didn't look right to me. So I added some gray to the mix.

I thought I would go ahead and post the first card I made too.

    I love both cards, Deanna. In fact, I think I prefer your first, although it's close. I keep swapping to and fro to look at each of them. :-)

    Both cards are great but I really love the top card. That is a great design and the addition of gray is the perfect touch.

    I like both the cards you created. I do like the addition of the gray for the ikat card. It just seems like the perfect touch for that card. So sorry you've not been well. I hope you continue to feel better! ;-)

    I'm sorry you've been sick, Deanna! There's been so much illness all over this Winter. Glad you're feeling better. I like the second card, but the first does have more pizzazz and jumps off the page.

    Hi Deanna, aw that's a shame that you've been feeling so unwell, but you really do deserve some treat time now in the craft room! I love both of your cards, but the first one does it for me. You're right, the extra touch of grey just gives it that little something. Hope you continue to feel well. Kx
