A Wedding Update

Sorry I've been slacking on keeping all of you up to date on my daughter's wedding. We are now under the three month mark..crazy! Everything is coming together really well.  My mom and dad have been such a huge help. My dad is a retired cabinet maker and he's been building all of the wood items, and my mom has been doing a lot of the painting. I don't know what we would have done without them. We've spent a lot of time in the yard these past few weeks getting it ready. We planted a bunch of purple petunias and they are beautiful. Here are a few pictures of some of the things we've been working on. As you can tell there is a lot of lace and burlap :)

We decided to skip putting in a garden this year and put flowers in the boxes instead. I planted these three weeks ago. We purchased pre-made hanging baskets and put two in each box. They are about triple the size they were when we planted them. Can you imagine how big these are going to be come August!

I'm not sure what these little flowers are but I love them.

These are the flowers for the girls to wear in their hair as well as the corsages.

This is the super cute cake stand my dad made..love it!

These are some of the boxes for the flowers, also made by my dad.

The super cute cookie jars.

The boutonnieres for the guys made my the bride..she is so proud of them.

We've had so much fun making everything. It's going to be simply gorgeous!

Blessings,
Deanna Jean

  7. Looks like you have been so busy with the wedding that I wonder you have any time to stamp. I live up in Seattle so know about Memorial Day and rain which we had plenty of yesterday. My BFF, Colleen lives down in West Linn. Glad you were able to take time to make that cute bike card. I just got my stamp set last week and have had fun playing with it also.
Good luck on the wedding plans.
