Well it's been three weeks since our daughter's wedding. I'm not going to lie or sugar coat it...I've had a really hard time adjusting to her being gone. The house has been so quiet. The three of us are so close and we're all trying to find our new norm. I'm just thankful that she's only a few miles away and I can still see her on a regular bases.
We still don't have the picture back from the photographer. She said we should get them in the next we or so. I promise to share them as soon as I can.
I haven't had any time to sit down and stamp yet, but I thought I would share a card with you that I made awhile ago. I've been itching to get back to the Kloset so I'm hoping that I can really soon. I've been watching all of the challenges and keeping up with your blogs. So it might be quite on my end, but I'm still here...stalking you:)
Blessings,
Deanna Jean
Good to have you back! Wonderful card, Deanna, didn't expect anything less!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Deanna - it would be perfect for this weeks City Crafter Bicycle Challenge here

Hope you settle back into a crafting routine soon - maybe scrapbooking a few of those photos!!
Beautiful card, Deanna! I hope you find your new "norm" very soon. I also look forward to you stamping and sharing again. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI am sure the adjusting takes time. My Mom told me that the day I left to be married she thought she would never find her 'norm' again, she did. It just takes time. Gorgeous card as always, blogland is ready for your return. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the card!
ReplyDeleteGlad to "see" you back! And with a beautiful card to boot!
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful! I love the little scene! I'm glad she lives close! That does help, I bet! Il come hang out with you if you want me to! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome at my house anytime! That would be so much fun.
DeleteHang in there, Deanna...it does get better and a new normal develops that includes your son-in-love. I thought the same things as you after my daughter got married 2 years ago. We had so much fun planning the wedding and enjoying each and every moment of the festivities! It was such a change after it was over! But I am now cherishing those times we are together as I watch her grow into the role as wife, homemaker and soon to be mom! It is wonderful to see my daughter and son-in-love grow their marriage and family in Him!
ReplyDeleteBtw... Any info on the card? I have a friend who absolutely adores bicycles!
Hi Linda. The bike stamp is from Papertrey Ink. It's called Pedal Pusher.
DeleteGood luck :) you're such a lovely loving mother.
ReplyDeleteYour card is fab! I love it :)
super cute card! can't wait to see wedding pics!
ReplyDeleteIt will get easier as time goes by, trust me I know. I had a very hard time as each of my girls got married. I know your heart is filled with joy but it is also very heavy. Hugs to you Deanna.
ReplyDeleteLove this sweet bike with basket card. Always wish I bought this sweet set.
