Time For A Little Play Date

Happy Sunday, I hope all of you had a nice relaxing day. I'm back today with a card I made yesterday for the Play Date Cafe challenge. This week the challenge is to create something based on
Wine...Smudge...Leather...Parchment
 
   
Here is what I came up with.
 
 
I had so much fun making this card. It was one of those that you see in your mind and when you start to create it just flows. I used my Music Sheet stamp set and stamped it  in brown and then distressed it. On the Scarlet Jewel paper I stamped the smudge image from the My Hero My Dad  set in VersaMark. I did the same technique on the bells that I did on this card.  To finish it off I added some pearls to the centers of the flowers and a bow. I think this is the card I'm going to make to send out this year. It's a little more time consuming but I really like it.

    Beautiful card. Good choice for this years Christmas cards. I love the smudging on the SJ CS. That ribbon just ties it all together. (no pun intended)

    Flawless! I love the perfect smudgy bells. How neat! The sheet music also looks rather fab. Is it PTI's? Such a wonderful card and a joy to see.

    Ok, I have to say I have added you to my GR. I can not comment on all of these cards but WOW girlie! I LOVE this card. So much in fact, that I wish I had purchased this stamp set (bells). This is one beautiful card and it's such an inspiration!
