Day 4 At Papertrey

Well it's already day 4 over at Papertrey Ink and I have to say..it just gets better with each day. I'm so thankful I've been saving up for this event because I'm going to need it. They are coming out with some amazing new products. Can't wait to get my little hands on them.

So for todays celebration event the design team posted what their favorite color combo is. We are to choose one and great a card of our own. Wow...there are some beautiful combos. Some of these I would never think to put together. I decided to go with Lisa's colors today.
Love..love...love these colors together. The softness of the three with the pop of red is amazing. As soon as I got home from work I sat right down. Of course my original idea just didn't work for me..so back to the drawing board I went. I don't work well under pressure..haha. I think I pulled out every set I had and kept thinking I could do this...and I could do that...but no..I only have a few minutes to do this. Here is what I finally came up with.

It's not the most original card I've made but I like how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. GORGEOUS!!! I absolutely die for this!!!

  2. Love your beautiful card! Why oh why did I not buy this set! Love your card.

  3. I LOVE how this turned out! It's simply elegant! You work very well under pressure. I don't have any of these sets or dies and now Im regretting it, lol!

  4. This is so pretty. For some reason, I have never used that Quatrefoil die without stamping on the paper below, and now I am seeing what a great look that is. Really nice job on the challenge.

  5. This is gorgeous!! I love the quatrefoil on the bottom and the shading you added to the flowers! Beautiful!

  6. Well, the struggle worked out beautifully! I LOVE how you used the quatrafoil die, without the edges! I must remember that. And you can't go wrong with Rosie Posie! :)
