Dynamic Duos #37

It's time for a new set of colors at Dynamic Duos. We're going a little softer with this week's colors. It's week four and that means it's monochromatic week.

Here is my card:

This week's colors are so soft and gentle, I thought they were perfect for a sympathy card. I didn't want the card too busy so I used very little color.

I attached the top square to the bottom square with foam tape. Then I attached that piece to my card base with foam tape. This allowed my focal point to really pop.

Thanks for stopping by,
Deanna

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin UP! Summer Silhouettes & Papertrey Ink Think Big #4

  2. Oh, Deanna, you are simply the queen of CAS! I admire how you can make a card look so striking with such minimalism. I love the simple addition of the embossed lines above and below the sentiment!

  3. How do you do it? You take something simple and turn it into elegance! I am sorry to read about your job situation...I have no doubt that what is in store for you will be even better! Maybe more time and less stress to work on that wedding of yours! BTW...love the invitations and all the sneak peaks you have shared with us...can hardly wait to see more!

  10. It is perfect, soft, and tender, Deanna. Just right for a sympathy card.

And COOL, you used the same sentiment I used on the PTI hop on Friday and I while I thought it looked like a PTI product, I wasn't sure b/c I have it in an unmarked case (I got it in a grab bag), so thank you!! Now I can make a note so I know in the future!!
