The Card Concept #5

It's so hard to believe we are already on challenge #5 at The Card Concept. Every week seems to just get better and better. This week's challenge is a really fun color challenge.

Here is my card:

Most of my cards have a white base. I wanted to show you that you can still create a CAS card using color. And how is this card for some color..wow. I stamped the flower and sentiment in dark brown. I tried stamping the flower with white ink but I just couldn't get the bold white that I was looking for. So I pulled out my white gel pen and colored in the flower instead. I love how the white pops off the card.

This week's challenge:
Thanks for stopping by. I hope will join us this week. I can't wait to see some amazing creations using these colors.

Blessings,
Deanna Jean

Supplies
Stamps: PTI Flower Fusion #5 & Big & Bold Wishes and Simon Says Flower Friend

  8. I have loved this card from the first time I saw it in our gallery Deanna...love how you used the green card stock in place of "white". I think the white gel pen does make the flower petals pop. Great job on this color challenge.
