ColourQ #125

It felt so good last week to do a challenge. When I saw the colours for this weeks ColourQ I knew I had to make a card using them. Have you seen these colours? Beautiful!! I wouldn't mind having that quilt either.
 Here is my card.

I love how it turned out. Getting the outline to line up was really hard. This was try number 5 and I finally just had to tell myself it was okay. I'm a perfectionist so this was hard for me...but I did it.
And of course I had to attach it with my favorite pop dots. They're just enough to give it a little something extra.

Thanks for stopping by today. See you soon.

  1. This is really beautiful, Deanna! It's funny for me because I did a different challenge today that took me five tries! I've never done more than two tries on a card before. Glad you stuck with it, this is a keeper!

  10. Wonderful card, as usual. I'm glad to hear that others have to make multiple tries on what seem like simple cards. They say that the simple cards leave no room for error, and isn't that true. Your 5th attempt was a charm, and totally worth all the extra effort.

  14. Oh, I love this, Deanna! Great CAS card!! I still have hopes of playing along with Colour Q but time is flying! I wouldn't mind having that quilt, either. Love those colors! Makes me feel better when you say this is your 5th try - only someone else who makes cards would understand how LONG it could take to make a card you're finally happy with in the end :-) This is beautiful, though!

  21. Congratulations Deanna on your fabulous winning card. I rather like the look of a block of colour stamped slightly off an outline but I also understand your wanting it to line up perfectly! I'm very honoured to share Colour Queen with you this week.
