On My Couch

I hope all of you are having a wonderful week. I'm on vacation this week and it's been so nice. I could really get used to this. I wanted to share with you some really cute cards I made for an order I received. There is a gift shop in town that purchased some of my cards back in November. I was told they would contact me if they wanted more.  I was very excited to get an email from them a few days ago. I took them my baskets of cards that I have and they selected another good size stack. A couple of days later I receive another email requesting some specific card types. (wedding, sympathy, bridal shower and couches) She said the couch cards they got from me last time were a big hit.  Here are a few of them. I just have to say that the new PTI pattern paper and On My Couch =  lots of fun.

For all of the cards I used the stamps that are just the outline. I stamped them on the various PTI pattern paper colors and prints then cut them out. (no I don't have the die..but remember I love to fussy cut)

Each couch and chair as well as pillows are attached to the card using my dots.

How cute is this one with the table and the coffee cups?

For this one I used one of the stamps from the Happy Hexagon set to create the pattern on the couch. For the pillow I used the polka dot stamp from the Bitty Background Blocks.

Sorry that was such a long post. I wanted to show you all the variations I was able to create. She asked me to make 6 and I was having so much fun that I ended up making 9 and she purchased all of them :)

Thanks for stopping by,

Deanna Jean

  14. I am totally loving these cards, and this post. Don't say it was too long. It was too short! I could have looked at 9 more. Seriously. And, I will try to case them all, if you don't mind. I'm so glad I have this set already. Each one is just darling, and cuter than the next, if that is possible.

  15. I totally love these! And I cannot believe you cut them out by hand! We were just talking about fussy-cutters at a cardmaking group...not a single one of us could believe that fussy-cutters had fun - but you proved us wrong!! I am so glad that I have this set (with dies, of course) because I will be CASing.
