Invitations Have Been Mailed

After a lot of work, but lots of love put into them, my daughter's wedding invitations finally went out in the mail a couple of days ago. You might remember this post from back in January where I gave you a little peek at what they were going to look like. Here is what they look like all done and put together.

Every invitation was hand stamped. This flower is a two step stamp so each flower had to be stamped twice. Once with the dark purple and once with the light purple. Plus I had to do a lot of masking. I purchased the card pockets and matching envelopes at Cards & Pockets.
Here you can see what is on the different pull outs on the right.
Yes, after stamping these I hand cut every one of them out..all 80 of them.

They may have been a lot of work, but I had so much fun putting these together for my daughter and future son-in-law.

Blessings,
Deanna Jean

  22. I've been following all year as you've posted updates about the invitations and wedding. I can't even put into words how beautiful the invites turned out! Talk about a lot of work!!! Your daughter is so lucky to have such a creative mom! I can't wait to hear what the recipients say when they receive them. I'm sure most people will think you bought them from a printer. Hope you put a note on the back "handmade by Deanna". (lainey, PTI Forum)

  37. These are so stunningly perfect!! I did 60 invites once that were much simpler than this--wanted to shoot myself from the tediousness. ;) It would be much more meaningful, of course, if it was for my daughters. Fifteen to twenty more years until those joyous occasions! ;)
    Again, fabulous job!
