Bottom Of My Heart

Hi everyone. I thought I would stop in and share a card I made a couple of weeks ago.

Nicole over at Papertrey Ink shared a card during last months release using these hearts, and I loved how she left the space for the sentiment and wanted to give it a try. I used a color combo from a past ColourQ challenge...#199 to be exact. I created a file on my computer and I save all of the color and sketch challenge logos in it. I have one for colors and one for sketches. I use this file ALL the time.

After I had the hearts done I went hunting for a sentiment and this one not only fits in the blank space, but the words are perfect...love when that happens.

Thanks for stopping by. Oh...be sure to stop by tomorrow for my first post for the new Card Concept challenge.

Blessings,
Deanna Jean

  1. What a cute card. And how clever to keep a file of all the sketches and color challenges to refer back to. I may have to try that. I find there are plenty of sketches out there but not as many color challenges. I tend to use my old favorites, but would like to branch out a bit. I feel that is what those challenges do.
